- Issued by Operations & Business PAD, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory · Aug 2022 Outstanding efforts in completion of the Onboarding Phase 2-New Employee Orientation Redesign and Best Practices at LLNL.
- For keeping work progressing by going the extra mile to share expertise in virtual training. This greatly reduced the time to competency for site training organizations during the COVID-19 pandemic. During the COVID-19 shelter-in-place mandate, organizations across the DOE Complex had to convert their instructor-led training using a variety of virtual collaboration tools (e.g., Webex, Adobe Connect, and Microsoft Teams). Being new to the format and tools, much upskilling was needed to provide effective training through these means.
- The nominated subject matter experts answered the call to help their fellow trainers. Over the course of 6 months, these individuals researched, planned, presented, and answered questions to greatly shorten time to competency in virtual training and qualification. This effort allowed us to address these topics in more depth and meet the needs of a wider diverse audience (with content for instructors, instructional designers, managers, and administrative staff).
- Ultimately, they delivered four in-depth learning sessions which strengthened the training community, more than doubled the TWG membership, and most importantly enabled sites to continue to deliver training to keep site work progressing.
- Associated with Lawrence Livermore NationalIn recognition of outstanding support of Engineering's employee and leadership development programs.
- The Excellence in University Service Award recognizes faculty for their contributions to the essential work of Marquette at the highest level of excellence. Candidates are nominated based on meritorious service that is above and beyond the duties normally assigned to their positions.
