I joined LLNL and the OCFO in August 2019 as the Workplace Services and Development Manager and became the OCFO Chief of Staff in July 2023.  Before coming to LLNL I was the Talent and Workplace Services Manager at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory since 2008. In that role, I created multiple employee development programs including onboarding and mentoring programs. I am an advocate for everyone's continuing education to help them be successful in their goals, whatever those may be.  I have over 35 years of training, development, and operations experience in government, high-tech, and pharmaceutical industries. In the past, I was a small business owner for over 15 years in the roles of chief financial officer and chief human resources officer. I hold a BS in Business Management from University of Phoenix, a Master’s in Business Administration from University of Maryland, and a Doctorate of Business Administration from Walden University where I completed research on knowledge transfer preferences of expert employees nearing retirement. I've been a Livermore resident for over 20 years and have served in various community service roles in Livermore and the Bay Area including volunteering for the Boy Scouts of America and the Livermore School District.
