I specialize in nuclear astrophysics and nuclear reactions, with key contributions at TRIUMF’s DRAGON/TUDA group and Texas A&M University's Cyclotron Institute. At TRIUMF, I led major upgrades to the DRAGON recoil spectrometer, focusing on its electronics and data acquisition systems. These enhancements improved spectrometer performance and enabled multiple EEC-approved experiments, advancing our understanding of astrophysical nuclear processes. Over three years, I played a central role in designing, simulating, and executing these studies.
At Texas A&M, I contributed to the development of the TexAT active target detector, significantly improving capabilities for studying nuclear structure and reactions. My research on clustering dynamics in light nuclei provided new insight into nuclear matter organization. I have developed broad expertise in detector development, electronics, and physics simulations, which continues to support high-precision experimental design and analysis. Together, these efforts lay a strong foundation for advancing the field’s understanding of the fundamental processes shaping the cosmos.
