As an experimentalist in the metallurgy and advanced microscopy group, my research focuses on:

  • Discovery, rapid assessment, and tailoring of refractory multi-principal element alloys for high-temperature applications.
  • Structure-property-processing-performance relationship of structural and functional alloys.
  • Characterize surface and bulk material degradation mechanism and kinetics across length scales.
