My research interests include using various forms of laser spectroscopy to investigate chemical and biological processes. Prior experience includes non-linear optics, ultrafast vibrational spectroscopy, fluorescence microscopy, and numerical modeling of multi-dimensional line shapes. Current work includes building a field-deployable two-color cavity ring-down instrument to conduct high-throughput atmospheric measurements of ¹⁴CO₂ for attribution of biogenic and fossil carbon sources.
