Background: Erick Ramon is an isotope geochemist and inorganic mass spectrometrist who joined LLNL in 2002. Throughout the majority of Erick’s career at the laboratory, he worked on proliferation detection and nuclear forensics related projects for Global Security (GS); serving as the Associate Program Leader for Uranium and Plutonium Production Detection from 2007 to 2014.  In 2018, he began working for the Physical and Life Sciences (PLS) Associate Director’s Office as the Strategic Infrastructure Point of Contact.  In this role, he developed a comprehensive infrastructure plan consistent with the PLS science and operations strategy. In 2019, Erick transitioned to working on infrastructure planning full time when he matrixed to the Office of Laboratory Infrastructure, where he serves as the project portfolio manager for the LLNL General Plant Program (GPP), prepares infrastructure Area Plans for LLNL capabilities, and leads the integration of multi-sourced data into the long-range Site Development Plan. In December 2020, Erick was also named the Deputy Division Leader for the Nuclear and Chemical Sciences Division in PLS.
