Biography
Research
I am interested in environmental microbiology and microbial ecology. My research focuses on microorganisms and microbial communities involved in bioenergy and bioremediation applications. I use metabolomics and sequencing based approaches to investigate host microbial community recruitment, community dynamics, and metabolite exchange in algal-bacterial and plant fungal-bacterial interactions.
