David Paglieroni is a member of the technical staff in the Computational Engineering Division at LLNL.  He currently supports project acquisition and execution in the areas of data fusion and computational analytics for near-field and remote sensing applications of electro-optic cameras and radars.  Dr. Paglieroni was formerly the Group Leader for Pattern Modeling and Analysis at LLNL, and the Section Manager for Imagery and Graphics Software at Lockheed Martin in San Jose, CA.  While at Lockheed Martin and LLNL, he served as Principal Investigator or Technical Lead on numerous internally and externally funded projects in the areas of image analysis, pattern classification and data fusion.

Dr. Paglieroni received the B.S. (summa cum laude), M.S. and PhD degrees in electrical and computer engineering from the University of California, Davis, with an emphasis on signal and image processing.  He is a member of the Tau Beta Pi and Phi Kappa Phi academic honor societies, and a Senior Member of the IEEE.  Dr. Paglieroni served as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Pattern Recognition for nearly twenty years.  His areas of expertise include computer vision, pattern detection, pattern recognition, content-based image retrieval, radar image classification, photogrammetry and graph-based data fusion.
