Sarah Osborn is a researcher in the Mathematical Algorithms & Computing Group within the
Center for Applied Scientific Computing (CASC) at LLNL. Her research interests include
uncertainty quantification, parallel computing, iterative methods for solving linear systems,
preconditioning techniques, and the resiliency of critical infrastructure. Sarah is actively
engaged with DEI activities and recruiting efforts at LLNL and has served on the Computing DEI
Committee since its formation in 2019. Prior to joining LLNL, she received a Ph.D. in
Mathematics from Texas Tech University, Lubbock, TX in 2015.
