Prior to joining LLNL, Deirdre spent 5 years in the polymer industry as an Applications Development chemist at additives companies. After arriving at LLNL in mid-2021 her focus has shifted to energetic formulations while leveraging prior expertise in additives, such as plasticizer migration and aging characteristics. In addition to traditional energetics formulations, Deirdre is also interested in new developments in additive manufacturing and machine learning.
