Ruipeng Li is a Computer Scientist in the Center for Applied Scientific Computing (CASC) at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL). He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota in 2015, under the direction of Yousef Saad. His dissertation was on robust high performance preconditioning techniques for solving general sparse linear systems [pdf]. He also received an M.S. in Computer Science from Arkansas State University in 2008 (under Hai Jiang).

His research interests include: sparse matrix computations, parallel computing, iterative methods for solving linear systems, preconditioning techniques, and eigenvalue problems.
