Matt’s current work focuses on high temperature characterization of materials, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, and novel sintering techniques. 

During his time at Rutgers, Matt worked with the Army Research Laboratory through the Center for Materials in Extreme Dynamic Environments. During his work with the ARL, he worked to improve industrial production of novel hard armor materials through study on new precursors to improve supply chain resilience.
