  • Development and implementation of new diamond anvil cell technologies and diagnostics
  • Ultrahigh static high-pressure experiments with toroidal diamond anvil cell (tDAC)
  • Time resolved studies of dynamic compression of material in dynamic Diamond Anvil Cell (dDAC)
  • High pressure, temperature behavior (EOS, phase diagram) of metals, alloys and molecular solids
  • Micro-Raman spectroscopy and synchrotron x-ray diffraction and spectroscopy for in-situ diagnostics

Background

Dr. Zsolt Jenei is a research scientist, a physicist by training, in the High Pressure Physics group at LLNL. He started working at LLNL in 2002 as graduate student employee, accepted a postdoctoral position in 2009, and has worked as research staff since 2013.
