Group Leader, Chemistry of Nuclear Materials Group

Mission: The Chemistry of Nuclear Materials Group provides technical excellence in the area of chemical operations for the nuclear materials program. Specifically, this group is the expertise for aqueous chemistry, pyrochemical processing, and casting within the LLNL nuclear facility "superblock".

Vision: The Chemistry of Nuclear Materials Group applies atomic scale mechanistic understanding of chemical phenomenon to link material synthesis and manufacture processes with properties and performance. This expertise provides solutions to chemistry and materials science problems in nuclear materials.
