Harshitha is a Computer Scientist at the Center for Applied Scientific Computing (CASC) at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. She joined CASC as a postdoctoral research staff in 2016. Her research focuses on fault tolerance and floating-point mixed-precision of HPC applications. She also has expertise in load balancing algorithms, cosmology simulations application, and HPC runtime systems.

Harshitha earned her Ph.D. in Computer Science from University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign in 2016. Her dissertation was on load balancing HPC applications.
