Debojyoti Ghosh is a computational scientist at the Center for Applied Scientific Computing at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. His current research involves the development and implementation of high-order algorithms for fusion plasma simulations. His wider interests and activities include high-resolution and scalable algorithms for hyperbolic PDEs, implicit and semi-implicit (IMEX) time integration methods, and high-resolution finite-difference/volume methods.
Debo joined the Center for Applied Scientific Computing in October 2015 as a postdoctoral research staff member. Prior to this, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the Mathematics & Computer Science Division at the Argonne National Laboratory. He holds a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics and Scientific Computing from the University of Maryland, and M. Tech. and B. Tech. in Aerospace Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay.
