Jonathan joined LLNL as a postdoctoral researcher in 2007. He has a B.S. in physics from the University of Florida and a Ph.D. in physics from the University of Delaware.

His research interests include:

  • Many-body quantum dynamics;
  • Design of hardware, algorithms, and control systems for near-term applications in quantum information, sensing, and computing;
  • Quantum simulation and quantum emulation; and
  • Monte Carlo methods and the fermion sign problem.
