Research Interests
Radiochemistry, hydrometallurgy, speciation, bioinorganic chemistry. My research focuses on the interactions between metal ions and chelators (natural small molecules, polyoxometalates, synthetic ligands, or macromolecules such as proteins) with implications spanning from separation technologies to medical applications, actinide and lanthanide sciences, strategic metal mining, and the behavior of heavy metals in the environment. U.S. DOE Early career award recipient (2023).
