Hardeo Chin is a Staff Scientist in the LLNL System Modeling and Evaluation group, where he primarily supports blast wave experiments for various programs. This work includes using high speed diagnostics to understand blast wave behavior in free-space and its interaction with supersonic/hypersonic projectiles.

Research Interests:

  • Turbulent premixed flames
  • Fast flames, Deflagration-to-detonation transition, detonation physics
  • Blast waves
