Christine is Postdoctoral Researcher in the Cosmochemical and Isotopic Signatures Group of the Nuclear and Chemical Sciences Division. She joined LLNL in 2023. Her research focuses on isotope geochemistry, actinide chemistry, and geochronology. At LLNL, her research focuses on developing novel techniques for radiochronometry and broader nuclear forensics applications.

Prior to joining the lab, she worked as a Geologist at the U.S. Geological Survey in Denver, CO. She received her PhD in Geology from University of Kansas in 2023. Christine’s PhD dissertation focused on the development and application of high precision U-Th-Pb zircon geochronology to understand the temporal and spatial relationship between magmatism and tectonics, as well as quantifying timescales of melt generation in young (< 1 Ma) volcanoes.
