Alex is a research engineer in the Analytics for Advanced Manufacturing group in the lab’s Materials Engineering Division. They joined LLNL in 2020 and have since worked as a technical lead on several advanced analytics and additive manufacturing projects. Their current work includes creating surrogate models to modernize critical material aging models and improving and packaging the toolpath generation code for various additive manufacturing modalities.
Alex is also involved with the LLNL Pride ERG, advocating for the lab’s queer community to ensure everyone can be their authentic self at work.
