Dr. Eva Baransky is a postdoctoral researcher in the Nuclear and Chemical Sciences Division at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL). Eva earned her PhD in Earth Sciences and Environmental Sustainability from Northern Arizona University where she investigated the major controls on the marine concentration of Ni, a bioessential trace metal. Before her PhD, Eva worked as a post-baccalaureate intern at LLNL in support of a nuclear safeguards and non-proliferation program.
