David C. Bader is the Climate Program Leader at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL), where he is the Principal Investigator for the multi‐institutional Energy Exascale Earth System Modeling project. From 2009–2010, he was the Senior Research Advisor for Climate Change to the Director, Office of Science, US Department of Energy, and prior to that he led the Program for Climate Model Diagnosis and Intercomparison (PCMDI) at LLNL.
