Expertise and Research Interests    

Experimental and computational fluid dynamics (CFD).  Extensive experience in particle image velocimetry (PIV), wind tunnel measurements (full- and model-scale vehicles), towing tank measurements, in vitro measurements of hemodynamic flows, CFD code validation, data analysis, and computational model development.  Research interests include vortex dynamics and instability, bio-fluid dynamics, heavy vehicle aerodynamics, porous media flows, high-speed compressible flows, and medical device research and design.
