Milo R. Dorr is a member of the Center for Applied Scientific Computing. He holds a B.S. degree in Mathematics from Grove City College, and M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in Mathematics from the University of Maryland. Since joining LLNL in 1983, Milo has developed numerical algorithms and codes for solving partial differential equations modeling a variety of problems in particle transport and plasma physics, with emphasis on adaptive and scalable algorithms implemented on high-performance platforms. Milo is a member of the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics and the American Physical Society.
